the
future of Jewish music
|
Within the Jewish faith,
music has been an integral part of worship.
It remains so today.
The fabric of Jewish music today is being woven by individuals representing many cultures and perspectives, educational and religious backgrounds, and levels of formal training.
Among those who create and contribute to synagogue music are cantors, cantorial soloists, music directors, choral conductors, composers, music educators, choir members, organists and keyboardists.
Through the Guild of Temple Musicians, this diverse group of synagogue musicians has access to a network of colleagues and peers with whom to share ideas, repertoire and support.
Together, our goal is to enhance the knowledge and expertise
of temple musicians though continuing education.
Whatever your current level of Judaic training and musical skills, membership in the GTM provides a valuable framework for advancement and growth.
